Insurance Industry Services

          We collect a wide variety of claims for the insurance industry, from premiums to deductibles and SIRs, from agent-debit balances to indemnity bond claims, and, in general, from contract debts to subrogation claims and judgments. We are members of industry organizations such as the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP), and we advocate claims through inter-company arbitration panels as well as through court proceedings and mediation.

         Our Special Investigations Unit (SIU) has experience with claims involving workers' compensation liability, property damage, personal injury, defective products, fraud, and other liability matters. In addition to litigating claims that have already been adjusted we serve insurance carriers who do not have an internal SIU team, and other carriers as an SIU extension, by conducting SIU examinations, and by gathering evidence through field investigation, locating and interviewing witnesses, and by customizing our services, as needed.

Commercial and Retail Creditors

          We represent collection agencies, as well as individual creditors with their litigation needs throughout California. Through a nationwide network of collection attorneys we also forward to, and receive debt claims from creditors and attorneys across the nation and around the world.

Skiptracing

          With an onsite investigation team and access to numerous state-of-the-art commercial data sources, we are able to locate debtors who have avoided the reach of ordinary collection efforts. We frequently find assets that a less thorough analysis might overlook. When the need arises, we are able to engage specialized outside investigators to take an even closer look.

Judgment Enforcement

          Once a judgment has been awarded we use the power of the court to take what the debtor won’t offer in voluntary payment. Those rights are routinely exercised aggressively and effectively.

Network Attorney Oversight

          We manage collection litigation throughout California, but we pursue debtors everywhere! When the debtor is found in another state, we may forward a claim to an attorney in the debtor’s local area, frequently without additional fees. Then, we stay tuned to the forwardee attorney’s efforts, and assist them in any way we can. For our clients, that means they will always be able to ask us questions about the status of a claim they have referred to us, regardless of who else may be involved in the pursuit. And, with our long term relationships with forwardee counsel we enjoy the collegiality of other professionals with similar dedication and passion for excellent results.

Customized Status Reports

          Status reporting for us is a matter of flexibility and responsiveness. Not all creditors have the same need for status reports. We provide comprehensive reports that are responsive to each client’s specific needs. For our clients, it means reports that give them the information they want, when they want it.
